India is one of the leading exporters of handicrafts in the world. In March 2022, the total exports of handicrafts (excluding handmade carpets) amounted to USD 120.06 million, which is 8% higher than the figure for February 2022. Moreover, this number represents a 25.7% increase from the previous year.
